Berkley Silverman – Paw Patrol ADR
Everrising Recording was proud to host a recent voice-over session for the hit TV cartoon PAW Patrol, recording Berkley Silverman, who brings the character Everest to life. It’s always an exciting experience working with talented performers and being part of the creative process behind such an iconic children’s series.
Dara Schindelka
A touch of the North and the pull of the Prairies… Dara’s voice has been described as “the voice of an angel with the power of a freight train.” In recent years, she has continued to tour extensively across Canada and internationally, collaborating with duo Northern Air, and performing with Back Seat Driver and the Range Road Girls.
In 2026, Dara travelled to Ireland to perform with “Northern Air” at Ireland’s Folk Conference – Your Roots Are Showing, further cementing her presence on the global folk music stage. Her ever-evolving, genre-bending sound weaves together folk, classical, jazz, and electronic influences, reflecting both tradition and innovation.
When not leading her own projects, Dara is a sought-after collaborator, lending her powerful and expressive voice to a wide range of artists and ensembles.
Northern Air
Recording Northern Air was a deeply rewarding journey into the heart of prairie storytelling and musical craftsmanship. As an acoustic duo with roots in country and a gift for harmonies, the duo’s sound needed a production that would respect their natural, intimate style while highlighting the subtle beauty of their music.
Using an Allen & Heath console alongside preamps like the AMS Neve 1073 and API 512C, I was able to bring their acoustic performances to life, adding a rich, organic tone. The analog compressors and EQs allowed us to preserve the natural dynamics of their harmonies and guitar lines, ensuring their storytelling resonated deeply.
Moira Chicilo – 7 song EP
Recording with Moira Chicilo was an inspiring and deeply creative experience. Her vocal presence fills the room with emotion and precision, bringing every lyric to life with authenticity and power. In the studio, Moira’s artistic vision and collaborative spirit shaped each take, resulting in performances that are both technically strong and richly expressive. The session captured the heart of her music — intimate, dynamic, and unforgettable.
Stacy Olson – Author (Audio Book)
Working on Stacey Olson’s audiobook was a delightful experience, blending technical expertise with storytelling. Stacey’s engaging voice and passion for her material made it easy to create a polished, immersive final product. From perfecting the tonal balance to aligning the pacing with her narration, every detail was fine-tuned to ensure the highest audio quality to comply with ACX’s stringent requirements for distribution.
Trevor Herriot – Audio Book
Working on the audiobook for Towards a Prairie Atonement by Trevor Herriot was an inspiring and rewarding project. Bringing Herriot’s reflective prose to life required a balance of precision and sensitivity—capturing the quiet power of the prairie and the depth of his storytelling. From refining the ambient tone to matching the pacing of each passage, every step was taken to ensure the recording conveyed the book’s contemplative spirit while meeting the highest production standards for ACX distribution.
Birthday Cake Trebuchet
Recording Birthday Cake Trebuchet at Blue Door Recording was an experience rooted in collaboration and creative energy. The band’s eclectic mix of genres and playful yet powerful dynamics needed a production approach that could capture their raw spirit.
The chemistry between the band members was undeniable—each musician bringing their distinct voice to the table, from the punchy rhythms to the melodic guitar lines and captivating vocals. In the analog mixing sessions, we dialled in the warmth and richness of their performances using the full range of analog tools at Blue Door.
Shayne Lazarowich
Shayne hails from Treaty 6 territory and blends Americana originals with well-loved classics. A diverse musician, Shayne has travelled and played from northern Canada to southern Nicaragua.

Backseat Driver 5 song EP
A highlight of 2024 was producing, recording, and mixing Back Seat Driver’s debut album. Dara Schindelka and the band are not only phenomenally talented musicians but also a joy to work with. Their passion for rock ’n’ roll infused every session with energy, inspiring me to bring my A-game. Capturing their live spirit in the studio required creative mic placement and the precise use of analog and digital tools to reflect their dynamic sound.
Using state-of-the-art hardware in conjunction with the Everrising Allen & Heath recording console, high-end preamps like the Neve 1073 and API 512C, and a range of analog compressors and EQs, we captured their performances with warmth and depth. This hands-on hybrid approach allowed us to deliver a polished and authentic album that fully embraced the band’s unique sound.
Range Road Girls
Within the rural roads, these gals play original folk & fiddle music with nods to traditions of the past & fresh spins in the endless prairie fields.

Lois Fisher-Underwood
Lois is a seasoned singer-songwriter who has crossed both the United States and Canada singing her songs and sharing her stories. Her love of thoughtful lyrics and catchy guitar hooks make for a musical delight. After recording 3 studio albums, Lois took a creative pause, and is now excited to share her latest songs with a whole new audience!
F. Taylor
No stranger to the Western Canadian music scene, F. Taylor brings his tasty guitar leads to various collaborations with artists on the EverRising roster. The ease at which Taylor can switch from country to pop, old-time rock and roll to blues, speaks to his talent and experience in making music at the highest level. When not backing other artists, F. Taylor creates his own groovy originals.
Dan Valley
As a South African writer/musician transplanted onto the Canadian prairies, Dan Valley has an original take on the land and musical themes that lay just beneath the soul’s surface. His upcoming single, set to be released in 2024, shares the deep range of emotion and sound that come from a few simple instruments, powerful lyrics, and a soul-filled voice.
Tricky Python
The music of Tricky Python takes a deep dive into the roots of techno and fuses it with the newest sounds on the electronic music stage. Tricky Python is big on collaborations and often brings in other artists to have a holistic approach to the creative process. Computations and creativity blend seamlessly in this project and the result is musical magic. Watch for Tricky Python’s newest music coming out on all streaming platforms in late 2023.
